Isa Music is a music publisher and digital distributor based in Glasgow, Scotland. We manage the largest catalogue of scottish traditional music in the world and have a growing catalogue of contemporary music.

Artists

Many artists are bypassing record labels to releases their own material. This means more work but also a greater share of the income. Isa Music can help make it work for you.

You provide us with your music and the data related to it along with photos, biographies and news. We encode your music, submit it to our retail partners and collect the income on your behalf. We charge £10 per album and you get 90% of the income.

Labels

While their demise is often forcast, the record label has a huge part to play in the future of the music industry. Isa can handle all your digital distribution needs.

Distributors

As CD sales decline and digital sales increase the role of the traditional distributor is threatened. At Isa we belive there is still an essential role for knowledgable distributors to bring together catalogue from small labels and independed artists together. We can work in partnership with you allow you to add digital distribution to your range of services.

Retailers

There is no doubt that the sales of physical product are in decline and the future will be increasingly dominated by digital downloads. At Isa we believe this doesn't have to mean the end of the small retailer with specialised knowledge.

At Isa we care passionately about the future of the independent music sector and niche music in particular. We know that the future is not about getting the best deal for the customer or artist or label or retailer or distributor. It is about getting a fair deal for all of them at the same time.

We want to work in partnership with all elements of the independent music sector. Our first goal is the efficient delivery of music from content owner to retailer but we know that there is large gap between making a track available to buy and getting worthwhile sales. Our second goal is to ensure that the material necessary to sell the music is delivered along with the digital masters.
