Isa Music is Scotland’s ‘digital music distributor’, and has already secured placings for over 10,000 titles in a wide variety of genres onto some of the worlds leading online music stores including iTunes, eMusic and more. We strive to provide a service for independent record labels, unsigned bands and artists to allow them to make there music available to buy online by millions of people world wide.

By registering with Isa Music you will be entering a non-exclusive contract but each online store will expect you to only authorize one distributor to supply them with your music. You will still own your music and maintain 100% of your music rights.

How It Works?

Getting your music onto online download platforms isn’t as easy as you may think. Stores like iTunes and eMusic are reluctant to deal with individual artists and bands, therefore it is recommended that you go through a distributor who will encode your music and process royalty payments on your behalf. This is where Isa Music can help. We act as your digital distributor, you still own your music and all the rights. We will send your music to the online stores, they send us the money and we pay you. We are fully registered with iTunes and many other download platforms and have systems in place to account for your royalties. Every month we generate the royalties and make payments on sales over £50. Every member will be given a password that will allow them to view their catalogue and generated sales. Isa Music is happy to act as your digital distributor for as long as you want us to and you can cancel your contract at any point and we will remove your music from the online stores.

What Is the Deal?

Isa Music will pay you 80% of all your net royalties received from the online download stores.

What We Do?

-We will provide you with a page on our site which will allow you to upload news, reviews and upcoming gigs. It will include sound clips and links back to your own website.

-If you don’t have a Barcode or ISRCs for your music we will create these for you.

-We will encode and digitally send your music to our download stores.

-We will continually release your music to new download stores as the appear on our site.

-We also co-promote gigs, some of which are recorded for release through the download stores and are always looking for new and innovative ways to support the acts we work with.

When Do I Get Paid?

Payments are made on sales over £50 at the end of each month.

What Does it Cost Me?

There is a one-off charge of either £30 for an album over 6 tracks or £15 for an EP of up to 6 tracks.

This covers all platforms we contract with and includes data importing, digitization & uploading. (No extra charge will be made for titles that need either barcoding or ISRC Coding).

Creation from DAT tape or tape reels to disc will be charged extra at cost.

Payments should be made by cheque (payable to Isa Music) and sent in along with a copy of your CD to the address stated in the contacts page.

Anything Else?

Yes! It would be good to supply a biography, discography, good (600dpi) photograph, all contact details including manager / agent, web sites, My Space etc. The more information that is available helps everyone mesh together and push music & sales.
